Civilization has long been a legendary brand in the world of computer strategy gaming. Originally developed by Sid Meier, arguably one of the top game designers in history, "Civ" combines exploration, discovery, research and military action into a heady brew of world-domination.

With the Civilization series renown as a long time staple of PC gaming, Meier's development shop, Firaxis, recently developed a console version of the game, called Civilization Revolution. While not as detailed as the original game, "Civ Rev's" streamlined game arc allows newcomers to easily join in, emulating their favorite despot.
