Most cell phones now come with the ability to play back audio MP3 files. This allows you to carry along a single electronic device, instead of holding onto both your cell phone and an MP3 player. However, before you are able to enjoy the MP3 music on your cell phone, you must first download the audio files to the device from your computer. If your MP3 player does not have a designated software used to upload the files (such as the iPhone), there is an alternative way to upload the contents to your potable phone.
Install Cell Phone Connection Driver
Open your Internet browser and navigate to the cell phone's manufacturing page. Once there, choose "Support," followed by "Drivers and Downloads" (do note that the exact phrasing may differ slightly, depending on the website you are using). Enter in the product model of your cell phone; then, select the operating system you are running. Click the download link provided and the driver for the cell phone downloads directly to your computer. The driver informs the computer of how to use the cell phone once connected and allows you to upload music to the phone.
